Ata Dindin with Chunky Yam Chips

Funke Koleosho's Dundu with Ata Dindin

This post features a familiar and quick recipe incorporating my previous Premium Ata Dindin Relish. (See post & recipe here)

This is dead simple and straight forward. It makes a quick snack, starter or also served as a light meal. The ata dindin gives a moreish edge to the fried yam (traditionally called dundu....)

What to do
  1. Peel and cut yam into chunks
  2. Allow to soak in some salted water for about 30 minutes
  3. Deep fry until golden brown. Coconut oil is excellent for frying yam.
