Wara in My Salad

Just like tofu which has been made so popular through Asian cooking, wara is equally versatile. Once prepared correctly, you can add to a range of dishes; from salads to soups and stew, to noodles and it can also be used to create delicious canapes, starters and snacks.  (read more about Nigerian Milk Curds here)

Here, I demonstrate it can be simply added to your favourite salad. It can easily replace chicken or other sources of protein in your salads. Its different with a unique and different taste and texture. Above all, its delicious and healthy...!

What you need
  • Some crisp salad leaves such as lettuce
  • Avocado
  • Cucumber
  • Carrots
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Pre cooked wara
  • Salad dressing
  • Salt and pepper

What to do
  1. Prep and toss all your salad ingredients together in a large bowl. 
  2. Drizzle a generous amount of your favourite salad dressing. Serve
