What you need
- Large raw king prawns
- Beniseeds or sesame seeds
- Carrots
- Iceberg lettuce
- Spicy ata dindin relish (Get recipe for ata dindin here. Alternatively use your preferred dip or pepper sauce)
- Coconut oil
- Some lollipop sticks
- Cocktail glasses
What to do
- Shell, de-vein and wash the king prawns thoroughly. Pan fry the prawns using some coconut oil. This should take around 4 minutes.
- Transfer the cooked prawns into a bowl and add a generous amount of some pre-made spicy pepper-sauce/relish of choice.
- Sprinkle some toasted beniseeds/sesame seeds to cover the prawns then place them one at a time on lollipop sticks.
- Portion equal amounts of shredded carrots and iceberg lettuce into cocktail glasses and stick the prawn pops in. Ready!
